Week 17.

Finals today!  Wish me luck!
Week 16.

Today was a hard class to focus in.  Knowing it was the last class of the semester made it really hard to pay attention, I will be honest about that.   However, I have enjoyed the class.  It's been a great uplifting experience and opened my eyes to the many concepts of marketing.  I thought the principle was so simple but have since been slapped in the fact as to the complexity, yet interesting parts of marketing.
Week 15.

Today we talked about the steps in the selling process.  I am highly involved in this field.  I have grown to understand a few of these steps that were discussed.  This discussion also intrigued me because of the potential that I can have as a salesperson.  I was quite taken back by the information and I look forward to introducing it in my sales process.  As I manage a store, these are steps that I will take to my sales reps as well.
Week 14.

This class was fun.  We talked of DAGMAR which stands for Defining, Advertising, Goals for, Measured, Advertising, Results.

We also watched this crazy video on www.dollarshaveclub.com.  It was hilarious.  I came home and showed my wife.  That video is a great form of advertising.  Also another website was introduced, www.diapers.com.  It was interesting to hear how the site got started.  I think my wife and I may start purchasing diapers from this website, especially with twins on the way.
Week 13.

This is the official EWeek.  If I wasn't such a moron I would have realized that.  So now it is 2 weeks without class.  It's amazing how stupid one can feel when they are not receiving any kind of information.
Week 12.

I screwed up this week and thought that E week was this week.  Apparently I didn't look close enough at the schedule to realize that we actually had class.  This puts me back now because I don't have class next week now.  What a champ I am!
Week 11.

We talked about marketing channels today.  Talking about the channel intermediaries was kind of interesting.  It was interesting to learn about the different "middle" people that are present when it comes to the distribution of certain products.

We also discussed distribution intensity.  These were narrowed down to three different categories, intensive, selective and exclusive.
